Street Art virtual tour
Lake Placid, FL
Lake Placid is known as the “Town of Murals”. You will find murals painted on buildings throughout the town which reflect the history of Lake Placid businesses and residents.
It all started in 1992 when the Lake Placid Mural Society was founded by Bob and Harriet Porter to help beautify the town. They went on to convince painter Keith Goodson to paint murals on downtown buildings.
