The VB Street Art took over 19th & 18th Streets in the ViBe Creative District.
The VB Street Art Festival started May 30 and ran until June 2, 2024. The new festival in the ViBe Creative District featured the painting of 15 sculptures by 15 artists all live painting over the four-day weekend. Each sculptural, multi-faceted neighborhood identifier got a new life as it was repainted live during the festival. A fun, interactive wall mural of wings was also painted at SSI by Virginia Beach artist Summer Paradiso. The 1.5-mile route is designed to be easily walkable to see all 16 artists working. Visitors had the opportunity to try their hand painting a mural at The Garage VB, and were encouraged to enjoy specials at neighborhood businesses. FREE & OPEN TO ALL.
